Prime Medical Placements Pty Ltd was established (as part of the Prime Placements group of companies) in 1993, with the vision of providing diverse and personalised services to the Adelaide marketplace with an innovative, customer service driven, quality focused and competitively priced recruitment service.
The company's rapid growth over the years has validated this goal as it expanded its services with Prime Industrial Placements (providing unskilled labour and technical personnel), Prime Commercial Placements (their commercial division, providing white collar staff through to executive placements), Prime Medical Placements, (providing nursing staff), and Prime PC Training, (a Microsoft accredited computer training centre) and Prime Medical Placements Health Assessment Unit (providing pre-placement health assessments).
At the time, this made the Prime Medical Placements group
of services one of the most unique recruitment organisations in South
Australia if not Australia. It was the only known recruitment organisation
(in its time) providing nursing, commercial, industrial and training
under one umbrella.
The company had established a different business unit every year, had 30 permanent staff with hundreds out in the field working as, labourers, technical personnel, nurses, secretaries, call centre operators, accountants and so forth. And, clients and staff alike benefit from the computer-training centre - Prime PC Training.
In 2003 Prime Industrial was sold to a well known national labour hire company which provided its clients and staff with the opportunity to work with a national organisation. In 2004 the white collar business (Prime Commercial and Contact Centre) after years of a national affiliation with a Melbourne based company called DFP Recruitment (working on national contracts in SA) - Prime sold its white collar business to DFP who is now a nationally based company.
Prime Medical Placements is still focused on the SA market and also offers a range of Human Resources services and has facilities for their own Health Assessment Unit which is an excellent service for clients when hiring staff. Prime Medical Placements Pty Ltd is proudly 100% South Australian owned and operated but is also able to provide national clients with an Australia-wide recruitment service through its affiliation with interstate recruitment firms (other nursing agencies). It is a member of the RCSA (Recruitment Consulting Services Association) and we abide by the code of conduct and ethics.
Prime's clients range from residential care to acute facilities and in between. Local and national organisations, public and private, profit and non for profit.
Prime's first application to (Business Review Weekly) BRW's 100 fastest growing private companies in Australia, saw this recruitment organisation placed 23rd nationally and number 1 in South Australia in 1999/2000, and was again in the top 100 in 2000/2001, 2001/2002 & 2002/2003.
Primes' growth has been based on winning repeat business from both satisfied clients and candidates. Prime now has the enviable reputation of a quality recruitment organisation with some of the best nurses in town - focusing on quality staff. The selection and performance of their casual/temporary staff has been a significant factor in Prime's success.
